HUMAN RIGHTS ARE NOT OPTIONAL
Human rights are not optional privileges, but fundamental rights that belong to every person simply because they are human.
1. Inherent, Not Earned
Human rights do not depend on race, wealth, nationality, ability, religion, or social status.
You don’t earn them — they are yours by birth.
2. Universal
Every person, everywhere, has the same basic rights: to life, dignity, equality, safety, education, freedom of belief, and participation in society.
3. Indivisible & Interdependent
You cannot separate one set of rights from another.
Example: The right to education affects the right to work; the right to healthcare affects the right to life.
4. Protected by Law
International declarations (like the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, 1948) and national laws establish that governments are obligated to respect, protect, and fulfill these rights.
