    Are you ready to make a real difference in Trenton? Join our Mobile Pantry team and help serve your community by bringing hope, food, and care to neighbors in need. As a volunteer, you’ll assist with food distribution, bagging groceries, welcoming families, offering smiles, and ensuring everyone has access to healthy, fresh, and shelf-stable food. No special skills required—just compassion, a willingness to serve, and a bit of time.     "Building Resilient Communities: Secure Homes, Food Sovereignty & Sustainable Futures"

    I. PURPOSE OF THE SUMMIT

    Core Mission:

    To convene a transformative national gathering that addresses Liberia's interconnected crises of housing insecurity and food insufficiency through collaborative strategy, innovative solutions, and actionable commitments that align with Liberia's Pro-Poor Agenda for Prosperity and Development (PAPD) and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

    Five Pillars of Purpose:

    1. CRISIS RESPONSE & COORDINATION

    Create an integrated national emergency response framework for housing and food emergencies

    Establish real-time monitoring systems for vulnerable populations

    Develop rapid deployment protocols for disasters and economic shocks

    2. POLICY & SYSTEMIC CHANGE

    Advocate for national housing and food security legislation

    Align Liberia's legal frameworks with international human rights obligations (Right to Adequate Housing, Right to Food)

    Create cross-ministerial coordination mechanisms (Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Health, etc.)

    3. COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT & LOCAL SOLUTIONS

    Amplify indigenous knowledge and community-led initiatives

    Promote urban gardening, agroecology, and sustainable construction using local materials

    Establish community land trusts and cooperative housing models

    4. INNOVATION & SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGY

    Introduce climate-resilient construction techniques suitable for Liberia's climate

    Promote renewable energy integration in housing and food production

    Develop digital platforms for resource mapping and needs assessment

    5. PARTNERSHIP & RESOURCE MOBILIZATION

    Forge multi-sector partnerships (government, NGOs, private sector, diaspora, UN agencies)

    Create investment opportunities in affordable housing and agricultural value chains

    Establish a Liberia Shelter & Sustenance Fund
